We are excited to add two new members to the ROCV Executive Team for next year.  Thank you to both Kelly Herbert (Chair) and Alicia Kittredge (Treasurer), whose tenure on the Executive Team has come to an end.  Ishika Cotter will remain on the Executive Team as Chair and Jessica Soderberg as Secretary for the coming school year.  They will be joined by Ellen Tate as Vice Chair and Dan Retzlaff as Treasurer.

In addition, two ROCV Trustees are retiring, Darcie Canales and Jayme Zerivitz.  We truly appreciate their commitment to ROCV and their years of dedication.  They will be replaced by Ellen Tate and Jennifer Carey.  Welcome everyone!

Lastly, the ROCV budget for the coming school year was approved last night and can be found here.  

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week has been a huge success largely because of all you awesome students and parents who have contributed. So thank you!

I have heard and seen many smiles and words of appreciation from the staff.  Tomorrow (Friday) is the last day of Appreciation Week and the theme is “You are Such a Gift to Us”.  We encourage students and families to bring a small gift to their teachers and staff and present it to them first thing in the morning.  Don’t forget the awesome staff, like the front office staff, special teachers, lunchroom staff, custodians, specials teachers, counselors, student teachers, paras, literacy teachers, librarian, etc!

The third graders have planted our school’s summer garden and we need help from our community to keep it growing! These are the plants that we will use during our fall garden lessons. Please sign up for a week as the garden’s caretaker.

During the week, we request you visit the garden 2-3 times to check on the irrigation, weeds, and plant health. No green thumb is needed and you will receive detailed instructions when you sign up!
